Nomads of Iran

Country:Iran
Client:Vagabond Magazine
Twice a year the Qashqai nomads of Iran move their goats, sheep and camps between the summer pastures in the Zagros mountains and the lower winter pastures near the Persian Gulf. They speak a turkic language and their ancestor came from Central Asia in the 11th and 12th century. I spent a few days with a family at their summer camp near Shiraz.
